About the Pashmina
Pashmina is a natural fiber obtained from the under fleece of Changthangi goat which breeds on the higher altitudes of Himalayas.
Each goat yields around 3 to 8 ounces of fiber every year making it a very expensive and luxurious item.
Pure Pashmina wool is six times finer than human hair so it takes the intense labour of expert craftsmen to weave it into a proper fabric.
I have found a supplier in Aurangabad who has mastered the process of getting the best quality Pashmina woven into different designs and patterns according to its elite clientele that’s spread across the globe. The scarves that they produce are the best example of the hard labour that goes into making an exquisite item and the end product always is pure perfection.
